The current reference STANDARD is Legislative Decree 101/2020, which came into force on 27 August 2020, supplemented and corrected by Legislative Decree 203/2022. RADON BARRIER (RADON ADVANCED BARRIER) is made of a special elastoplastomeric compound based on distilled bitumen, plastomers and elastomers, which is extremely compact, has no free volume, and is therefore impermeable to gases. RADON BARRIER membranes are used to cover the vertical and horizontal parts in contact with the ground of new buildings. On wet ground or in the presence of groundwater, RADON BARRIER membranes will form the first layer of a sealing element consisting of two membrane layers.
